Manchester City and Luton will need to reschedule their Premier League games at home to Brentford and Burnley respectively.

The reigning champions' participation in the Club World Cup means their fixture against the Bees can't now take place on 23 December.

Meanwhile, the newly promoted Hatters couldn't guarantee that work being done on Kenilworth Road would be completed in time for their clash with Vincent Kompany's men, originally pencilled in for Saturday 19 August.

NEW NAME. SAME GAME.

The upgrades to the ground, which are set to come to about £10m, include drastic improvements to the Bobbers Stand, which will house a new canteen and enhanced facilities to meet broadcast and media requirements.

Luton's first-ever Premier League campaign kicks off on Saturday 12 August at Brighton, while Pep Guardiola's treble winners begin their competitive season against Arsenal in the Community Shield six days earlier before travelling to Burnley on Friday 11 August.
