Sep 24Darwin Nunez has been unveiled as Liverpool's new No 9 following Roberto Firmino's departure.
Firmino donned the shirt for six years from 2017, having played for two years as the No 11 following his arrival from Hoffenheim.
However, after the Brazilian's contract ran out this summer, he left Anfield for Al-Ahli, with Nunez, who wore No 27 last term, taking the No 9 shirt.
Nunez joined Liverpool for an initial £64m last summer, but found his first season in the Premier League a difficult one, ending the 2022/23 campaign with nine goals from 29 appearances.

After his new number was made public, Nunez said: "I'm really happy to wear number nine, and very proud too.
"Previously other players represented this number really well and now it's my turn to wear it. I hope that everything goes well.
"I hope I'm able to represent it [in] the best way just as the previous players did. And hopefully this is for many years and that it brings a lot of joy too."
Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler and Fernando Torres are among those who have previously worn the shirt.
Liverpool kick off their Premier League season at Chelsea on Sunday 13 August.
