Europa League playoff draw: Live stream, TV channel and how to watch on BT Sport

Everything you need to know about the upcoming draw with several European giants already in the hat.

The Europa League knockouts are fast approaching, with several British clubs looking to join European giants including Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund in the draw.

Sixteen teams will do battle in the knockout playoff round for a place in the last 16.

When is the Europa League draw?

The draw will take place on Monday 13 December in Nyon, Switzerland.

It will get underway at 12pm and the full draw will be shown live on BT Sport.

How does the draw work?

The eight runners-up from the Europa League group stage (seeded) and the eight third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage (unseeded) are in the draw.

Ties take place over two legs, with seeded teams at home in the second legs. The first legs are scheduled for 17 February, with the second legs a week later.

The winners will join the eight Europa League group winners in the round of 16.
