Istanbul Basaksehir 3-4 RB Leipzig - Watch replay
Istanbul Basaksehir’s hopes of playing European football in the New Year are over, after a dramatic late winner from RB Leipzig’s Alexander Sorloth.
The former Crystal Palace striker came off the bench in the second half and netted in the 92nd minute to earn the Bundesliga side’s third win of the group stage.
That sees them move onto nine points and remain in the hunt for a place in the Champions League last 16, along with Man Utd and PSG.
Krasnodar 1-0 Rennes - Watch replay
Krasnodar confirm their place in the Europa League after condemning Rennes, who have just one point, to yet another defeat.
Sweden international Markus Berg got the solitary goal in the 71st minute to ensure the Russians will be playing European football in 2021.
With Chelsea and Sevilla already through to the last 16 of the Champions League, both teams knew it was a winner-takes-all affair.
Man Utd 1-3 PSG - Watch replay
Manchester United blew the chance to seal progress to the Champions League knockout phase as Fred was sent off in defeat to last season’s finalists Paris St Germain.
Having kicked off Group H with a 2-1 win in the French capital and 5-0 shellacking of RB Leipzig, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side knew they would go through to the round of 16 if they avoided defeat on Wednesday.
United looked well placed to secure that vital point after Marcus Rashford cancelled out Neymar’s early stunner, but Marquinhos and Neymar goals either side of Fred’s belated sending off saw PSG run out 3-1 victors at Old Trafford.
The result means the top three in Group H are all level on nine points heading into the final fixtures, with the Red Devils knowing a point in Leipzig will see them reach the last 16.
Sevilla 0-4 Chelsea - Watch replay
Olivier Giroud completed a perfect hat-trick and then fired a penalty to boot as Chelsea thrashed Sevilla 4-0 to win Champions League Group E with a game to spare.
Giroud delivered left-foot, right-foot and headed finishes for the perfect treble – and then whipped a spot-kick into the top corner for good measure.
Chelsea will host Krasnodar at Stamford Bridge next week, but sealed top spot with their win in Spain, and a potentially easier tie in the last-16.
Giroud put the squeeze on Blues boss Frank Lampard to hand the France striker a Premier League start against Leeds on Saturday, once again proving his clinical credentials.
Borussia Dortmund 1-1 Lazio - Watch replay
Dortmund sealed their place in the last 16 of the Champions League, with Lazio in pole position to join them heading into Matchday 6.
The hosts took the lead, despite missing their top scorer Erling Haaland through injury, when Raphael Guerreiro turned home.
Ciro Immobile, who spent a year with the Germans, levelled with a second-half penalty meaning Lazio need to draw against Club Bruges to reach the knockout stages.
Ferencvaros 0-3 Barcelona - Watch replay
A rotated Barcelona, who did not see captain Lionel Messi feature in the squad, picked up a comfortable win to maintain their 100% record.
Antoine Griezmann’s audacious goal got them on their way, before Martin Braithwaite – formerly of Middlesbrough – doubled the lead on 20 minutes.
Ousmane Dembele rounded off the lightning start, and with it the match, when he made it three from the penalty spot before the half hour mark.
Juventus 3-0 Dynamo Kyiv - Watch replay
Cristiano Ronaldo reached another milestone as he scored the 750th goal of his career as Juventus eased to victory over Dynamo Kyiv.
Despite the Italian champions having already secured their passage to the last 16, Andrea Pirlo named a strong side as they looked to seize on any Barcelona slip up.
Ronaldo will meet old foe Lionel Messi at the Nou Camp next week as the two European giants show down for top spot in Group G.
Club Brugge 3-0 Zenit - Watch replay
Club Bruges keep their hopes of reaching the last 16 alive after a convincing win at home to Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.
The Belgians sit third in Group F, two points behind Lazio, who they meet on Matchday 6 knowing they must win to join Borussia Dortmund in progressing from the group.
Goals from Charles De Ketelaere, Hans Vanaken – from the penalty spot – and Noa Lang, who is on loan from Ajax, did the damage.
