West Indies v South Africa Test & T20 Series: Live stream, preview, TV channel, start of play time and how to watch on BT Sport

Catch all of the action as South Africa tour the West Indies for two Test matches and five T20 Internationals across June and July.

Published: 7 March 2022 - 4.38pm

South Africa are touring the Caribbean for the first time since 2010 as they travel 11,000 kilometers to face Kraigg Brathwaite’s men for a summer bonanza of cricket.

Leading as a permanent captain for the first time, Dean Elgar is bidding to restore some pride to his country's cricket team after South African dropped down to seventh on the ICC rankings.

West Indies though are on the rise and placed sixth heading into the two-match Test series and five T20 matches.

The Test series is not providing any points to the victors. It was due to be played last year originally and falls outside of the new World Test Championship format.

Yet there will still be plenty more than pride to play for in what promises to be a fascinating clash between two teams whose strengths lie in their bowling attacks.

First Test Report

South Africa claimed victory in the First Test against West Indies as they picked up a first away win since 2017 by an innings and 63 runs.

Kagiso Rabada claimed a five-wicket haul in St Lucia as the hosts lost six for 65 with Roston Chase’s 62 the only resistance offered by West Indies – bowled out by 162.

Fast bowler Anrich Nortje hammered the final nail into the coffin when Jayden Seales edged it to Wiaan Mulder in the slips.

It meant South Africa were able to wrap up the Test before lunch on the third day leaving West Indies with some serious work to do to change things up by Friday – the beginning of the Second Test.
