Can I change the login username?

Once set, the username can’t be changed. If you wish to use a new username you have to create a new account.

Note that creating a new account means that you’ll lose events, friends and all your personalised settings from the old account.

How can I change or reset my password?

In the BT Home Cam App:

  1. Log in to the BT Home Cam App
  2. Tap 'App Settings'
  3. Tap 'Change password'
  4. Enter your existing username and password and tap 'Send'
  5. Enter your new password and repeat it to confirm

In the Web Portal:

  1. Log in to the Web Portal at https://myhomecam.bt.com
  2. Select the 'Account' menu
  3. Click on 'Reset password'
  4. Enter your existing and new password
  5. Click 'Apply'

Can I get a password reminder?

Using the BT Home Cam App:

  1. On the login screen of the BT Home Cam App tap the 'Forgot login details?' link
  2. Enter your username and email address you used for the registration, and tap 'Send'

Using the Web Portal:

  1. On the login screen click on the 'Forgot Your Password?' link
  2. Enter your username and email address you used for the registration, and click 'Send'

Can I get a username reminder?

Using the BT Home Cam App:

  1. On the login screen of the BT Home Cam App tap the 'Forgot login details?' link
  2. On the next screen tap the 'Forgot username?' link
  3. Enter your email address you used for the registration, and tap 'Send'

Using the Web Portal:

  1. On the login screen click on the 'Forgot Your Password?' link
  2. On the next screen click on the 'Forgot username?' link
  3. Enter your email address you used for the registration, and click on 'Send'
