Set up the BT Sport app

Please bear in mind that only the primary account holder's BT ID can be used to log in to the app and online player.
Downloading the app on smartphones and tablets
Search for 'BT Sport' in the Apple app store, Google play store or Windows store.
The BT Sport App will only work with devices meeting the following minimum operating system requirements:
Apple devices running iOS 12.0 or later
The BT Sport App is available to download from the Apple App Store and will run on Apple Devices running iOS 12.0 or later. We recommend that you keep updated with the latest operating system (OS) for security and performance reasons.
Android devices running OS 4.4 (Jelly Bean) or later
The BT Sport Android app is available to download from the Google Play Store. The app is compatible with the majority of Android devices running OS 4.3 or later. We recommend that your operating system (OS) is as up to date as possible for security and performance reasons.
There are thousands of Android devices on the market, and we're unable to test the app on every one. For this reason, we can't guarantee that the app will work on your device. We routinely test the app on the most popular Android devices according to our usage statistics.
Windows smartphones and tablets running Windows 10
The app has been optimised for touchscreen devices, but it's compatible with the majority of devices running Windows 10. However, there are many different Windows 10 devices on the market, and we're unable to test the app on every one. The app has been tested on the most popular touchscreen devices according to our usage statistics.
You can usually check the operating system in the settings menu of your device.
Downloading the app on smart TVs, games consoles or connected devices
Search for 'BT Sport' in the app store on your device. Simply select the app and press the download button.
The BT Sport App will run on:
- Apple TV 4th generation and above
- Samsung smart TV 2015 models and above
- Xbox One, Xbox One X, and Xbox One S
