About BT Mobile billing

Find out how to see your BT Mobile bill, understand your charges, and manage your account — all from your phone.

See your BT Mobile bill in the My BT app

You can view your BT Mobile bill anytime in the app. The app shows your latest bill, your next bill date, and a clear breakdown of your charges.

To find your bill:

1. Open the My BT app on your phone.

2. Tap My Bills on the bottom menu.

3. Choose Mobile to see your bill, allowances and any extra charges.

The My BT app also shows real time usage — your data, minutes and texts update as soon as you’ve finished a call or sent a message.

What your BT Mobile bill includes

Your mobile bill includes:

  • Your monthly plan charge.
  • Any add ons or extra services.
  • Usage charges such as calls, texts and daily data rates.
  • Charges for any additional SIMs on your account — the app lets you see usage for every SIM.

When you’ll get your first BT Mobile bill

If BT Mobile is your only BT product, your first bill arrives about 30 days after you ordered your BT Mobile. It includes:

  • Charges from the day you ordered up to your bill date (part-month).
  • Your full monthly charge for the month ahead.

If you already have BT products

When you add BT Mobile to your account, all your BT services move to monthly billing.

If your existing services are billed quarterly, you'll see:

  • Monthly charges for BT Mobile.
  • Monthly usage charges for your other BT products until the end of your current cycle.

From the end of that cycle, all services — including BT Mobile — appear on one monthly bill.

Will BT Mobile appear on my main BT bill?

Yes. BT Mobile is added to your main BT bill so you can manage all your charges together in one place.

Why your bill may look different

You might see a higher than expected amount if:

  • Your first bill contains part month charges plus your next month in advance.
  • You used extra data, minutes or texts outside your allowance.
  • You have more than one SIM — each SIM’s usage appears separately.
  • Your other BT services recently switched from quarterly to monthly billing.

The My BT app shows these extra charges clearly under ‘What you’ve used’.

Paying your BT Mobile bill

You can pay your bill by Direct Debit, online, by bank transfer, by cheque, at a PayPoint outlet or Post Office, or by phone (https://www.bt.com/help/contact-bt/account-and-billing/mobile)

You can check or change your payment method in Billing in the My BT app.

Using multiple SIMs

If you have more than one SIM, you can view usage for each one directly in the My BT app. This helps you see which SIM has used data, made calls or sent texts.

Download or view past bills

If your device supports it, you can download PDF versions of your bills from the My BT app for your records.

Where PDF download isn’t shown, you can still access them by signing in to My BT on the website.
