BT email addresses end in @btinternet.com. However, if you've been using our email service for a long time, you may have an email address that ends in @btopenworld.com or even @talk21.com.
Unless you've opted to use an alternative, your BT email address can also be your user name for signing into other services you choose, such as BT Cloud and BT Wi-Fi.
How do I get one?
When you take broadband from BT, the Standard email product comes free. You can get it when you place your order or later, once your broadband is up and running.
You can also create up to 10 additional email addresses for family and friends. So that's 11 in total.
To keep your email account active, you must log in and use the service regularly.
Premium email gives users the same functions and features as the Standard email product, but is a standalone, paid-for email service. It's only available to people who are giving up their broadband with BT, but want to keep their email access.
