What you’ll be doing

We might be best known as a broadband company, but there’s much more to us than that. Technology is our powerhouse, helping us stay ahead of the competition. By combining our passion for customer experience and our desire to be at the forefront of development, we’re leading a technological revolution for our customers.

As a Technical Build Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in our Mobile Deployment teams, making sure key technology programmes achieve critical contractual deadlines. Taking responsibility for the acquisition, build, activation, remedial and retrofit stages of a programme, you’ll make sure the technical requirements of our projects are met and on time. And, when we get new projects, you’ll  support with making sure that they’re  scoped out and costed well from the beginning, setting realistic targets for delivery expectations.

We aren’t expecting you to be an expert right away, so we’ll make sure you can learn the ropes from one our experienced colleagues. You’ll learn all about new technologies and how they work with our existing capabilities.  Gradually, we’ll help you build up your technical knowledge so you can help deliver a robust network infrastructure. Plus, you’ll learn all about multitasking; we’ll be keeping you busy on a range of different projects at once, so it’s key you can prioritise and take initiative.

This job is available in the Networks part of our business.
