Choose your keywords

Successful searches depend on well-chosen keywords. Here is how to make your search more effective:

• Try the obvious first. Key in 'broadband' rather than 'Internet connection options'.


• Use words that may appear on the web pages you want. 'Calling Plans' generates better results than 'cheapest monthly tariff'.


• Be specific wherever possible. 'Mobile phone prices' brings up fewer pages than 'phone prices'.

Capitals don't matter

There's no need to use capitals in your keywords. They make no difference to the outcome of your search.

Don't worry about 'and'

There's no need to type 'and' between each search term. The order you type does matter though - 'mobile phones' is better than 'phones, mobile'.
Use a comma to look for either one thing or another
If you search for mobile, phone - our search will return mobile OR phone.
