- Alternative formats
We want to make sure you get the information you need in a way that's easiest for you to use and understand.
We can provide standard print information – such as bills, leaflets and brochures – in alternative formats that you might find easier to use. These include:
- Audio – audio information is provided on CDs so you can hear the information read out loud. This may help you if you have visual impairments, specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, or if you find it difficult to read printed information
- Braille – we use Grade 2 single sided Braille, which is quicker to read as some words are abbreviated
- Large print – if you find it difficult to read small print, we have lots of user guides, contracts and letters in large print using a standard of 20 point Arial or 20 point BT Medium
You can also find lots of useful information on this website, or at www.bt.com
What do we provide in alternative formats?
We can give you your bill in Braille, large print or on audio which can be used with a CD player, MP3 player or a PC. There is also a text file that will work with most Screen Readers.
You could also try online billing, which lets you view and pay your BT bill online. Just go to www.bt.com/mybtsignup to find out more.
