UK calls

Things you need to know:

* Unlimited UK landline calls are for up to an hour to numbers beginning 01, 02 & 03, after which pence-per-minute rates apply. You can hang up and redial before the end to avoid charges. There are exceptions like calls to the Channel Islands. See our terms and conditions for details. Weekend calls mean from midnight on Friday to midnight on Sunday; Evening calls between 6pm and 6am weekdays; Daytime calls at other times.

Pricing. Line rental is £10.27 a month with Direct Debit and paper-free billing. Otherwise add £2.73 a month (£1.50 payment processing fee levied by BT Payment Services Limited, a BT Group company, plus £1.23 without paper-free billing discount). Unlimited Weekend Plan. Only £10.27 a month line rental with Direct Debit and paper-free billing, for new and existing residential customers making at least one chargeable call a month with BT. No minimum term, unless you order a new phone line or switch your phone line to BT from another provider, where a 12 month minimum term applies to line rental.

Unlimited Evening & Weekend Plan. Only £10.27 a month line rental with Direct Debit and paper-free billing, for new and existing residential customers signing up to a 12 month renewable contract. This means you have a 12 month minimum renewable period. So, after 12 months, your contract will be automatically renewed for another 12 month minimum renewable period unless you tell us otherwise. We'll write to remind you when your contract is nearing the end of a renewable period. Exclusions and conditions apply. £31 saving based on comparison with cost of the same BT Calling Plan with no minimum term.

Unlimited Anytime Plan. £4.85 a month (96.85p discount compared with same plan without a renewable contract, via bill credit), plus £10.27 a month line rental with Direct Debit and paper-free billing. This plan is for new and existing residential customers on a 12 month renewable contract. This means you have a 12 month minimum renewable period. So, after 12 months, your contract will be automatically renewed for another 12 month minimum renewable period unless you tell us otherwise. We'll write to remind you when your contract is nearing the end of a renewable period. Excludes customers benefiting from any other Calling Plan offer/contract deal. Mobile Saver and calls to mobiles with Anytime Plan. Call rates provide a 40% discount to Daytime pence-per-minute rates to UK mobiles (excludes roaming mobiles) compared with BT standard rates. A 6.85p call set-up fee applies.

BT Basic. As part of our social responsibility agenda, we also have a BT Basic Calling Plan. You can usually get BT Basic if you're claiming Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance or Guaranteed Pension Credit. BT Basic is replacing the Light User scheme and In Contact Plus.
