We're changing some of
our prices in January 2013

After that we'll freeze the cost of monthly line rental and all calls to UK1 landlines for existing customers until 2014.

Last year we froze monthly line rental and call prices to make sure the cost of staying in touch wouldn't change until 2013. On 5th January 2013 we're changing the prices of some of our products and services. Line rental will go up by 85p a month and call rates will also go up. More than half of our prices won't go up at all, including calling UK mobiles from your home phone – we didn't change these prices last year and they're staying put this time too for existing customers. So calling a UK mobile on our standard rate is still a lot cheaper with us than with Sky and Virgin. None of our phone or broadband prices will go up by more than 5.9 per cent.

We can also promise you that your monthly line rental, calls to UK landlines, BT Infinity, BT Broadband and our Unlimited Anytime Plan will not change again until 2014 at the earliest for existing customers.

Broadband pricing

Some of our broadband prices are also going up. To check the specific changes to your package go to our broadband price checker, where you will find details of new prices and any discounts you may have. You will need your account and telephone number.

Standard calls and line pricing

  • The set-up fee for calls from landlines or Broadband Talk will go up from 13.1p to 13.87p a call.2,3

Where these apply, customers will now only need to make two inclusive or chargeable calls per month to meet these commitments. All minimum call commitment charges will now be £2 a month which is a reduction in all cases except Line Rental Saver and Answer 1571.
